Donald Trump’s victory was in large part due to his promise to secure the border and carry out mass deportations of illegal aliens.

But a top House Democrat stunned CNN viewers into silence with this outrageous claim about Joe Biden securing the border.

Joe Biden refused to lift a finger to secure the border during his four years in office.

Not only did Joe Biden refuse to secure the border, but he also went out of his way to make it as easy as possible for illegal aliens to enter the United States.

The Biden administration created the CBP One App for illegal aliens to schedule asylum appointments at ports of entry on the border.

According to statistics, more than 450,000 illegal aliens were allowed into the United States through the CBP One app.

Joe Biden even flew secret flights of illegal aliens directly into the United States and dispersed them in towns and cities across the country.

Biden’s open borders policies allowed more than 12 million illegal aliens to enter the country during his four years in office.

The influx of illegal aliens busted budgets and took resources away from Americans.

Crime also skyrocketed as hundreds of thousands of the illegal aliens allowed in by Joe Biden were gang members with criminal records.

Illegal immigration emerged as a top issue of the 2024 election.

Joe Biden even admitted that America had an illegal immigration problem, but he claimed that he was powerless to take action without a bill from Congress.

Of course, this was a lie.

Donald Trump had the border secure within a matter of days without needing any bill from Congress.

But during a recent episode of CNN News Central, Representative Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) tried to make the case that Joe Biden took “big steps” to secure the border.

The host asked Gomez if he wished Joe Biden would have done more to secure the border during his time in office.

“Well, wishing is not going to change the facts, right?” Gomez said. “So, I think that one of the things we’ve got to look at is that Biden did take big steps during his administration,” he continued, before adding that “you saw a rapid decline in illegal [border] crossings and also was focused on cracking down on fentanyl in a way that actually cracks down.” 

According to Gomez, illegal border crossings experienced a “rapid decline” under Joe Biden.

The House Homeland Security Committee released a report last year showing that “the annual border encounter numbers have once again proven to be catastrophic.” 

“Since the start of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, CBP has recorded more than 10.8 million encounters nationwide, including more than 8.72 million at the Southwest border,” the Committee’s report read.  

However, illegal border crossings dropped to the lowest levels ever recorded within two weeks of Donald Trump taking office.

Gomez’s claim is outrageous to say the least.

Joe Biden allowed millions of illegal aliens to enter the country on his watch.

But Trump Derangement Syndrome prevents Democrats like Gomez from seeing the truth.
